Renting

70% of people in Franklinton are renters. Our main focus as an organization is to provide affordable housing for low-to-moderate income individuals and families by building and rehabbing homes. Over recent years, we have shifted our focus toward increasing our production of rental properties. The development of low-to-moderate income housing directly avoids displacement of our residents and helps create a mixed-income neighborhood. We continue to provide and maintain safe and decent housing opportunities for individuals and families.

Our single-family homes and duplexes are managed by Community Properties of Ohio, please call 614-253-0984 for more information.

Town Square Station at Hawkes Avenue/Town Street is on the same corner as Gladden Community House, Avondale Elementary School, and Franklinton Farm’s Patrick Kaufman Memorial Learning Garden. The 10-unit apartment building is a mix of 1-and 2-bedroom units. We are proud of this being the first rental project to be part of the Central Ohio Community Land Trust, which means these units will always be affordable. For leasing information, please call Fairfield Homes at 614-896-9870.

FDA does NOT provide rental assistance. If you are looking for rental assistance, please visit Rentful614.
